      EVENT DETAILS
The Choral Project's Benefit Concert for Silicon Valley Rotating Shelter

The Choral Project presents a concert to benefit Faith In Action's Silicon Valley Rotating Shelter.

Repertoire will feature music that spans several cultures, and many styles. Highlights include: Howard Hanson’s "A Prayer of the Middle Ages," Veljo Tormis’s stunning and virtuosic "Jaanilaul," Christopher Tin’s "Baba yetu" (made famous from the video game “Civilization), Brad Holmes’s exciting triple-choir American hymn setting of "Weeping Mary," and the rhythmic, toe-tapping "O sifuni mungu." Other favorites will include the world premiere of Mac Huff's arrangement of the popular song "Some Nights," made famous by the pop-rock group FUN. The program will include music ranging from songs that stir one’s soul, to those that make mirthful laughter.

This is a not-to-be-missed concert with something for everyone!
