CCNS to Celebrate 60 Years With Family-Friendly Food Truck Event

Cupertino Co-op Nursery School celebrates 60 years of serving the community with a party in Sunnyvale. On Sunday, October 20, 2013, from 11:00AM to 3:00PM, CCNS will be hosting a celebration at the school and the adjacent Fremont High School student parking lot at 563 W. Fremont Avenue in Sunnyvale. The free event will include children’s activities, family-friendly entertainment, and the opportunity to purchase meals from food trucks.

“We are excited to celebrate this milestone by bringing a Food Truck party to Sunnyvale,” said CCNS Director Michelle Edgecumbe. Anticipated vendors include: MoBowl, Gold Rush Eatery, Waffle Amore, Twisted Chill, Bill's Hotdogs, Papa Murphy -- Pizza Trailer, Speedy Panini, MOGO BBQ, Los Altos Taqueria, Fairy Cakes, and Blast Off!

Craft projects and play areas will be available for children in the CCNS play yard. Entertainment includes a DJ, and visits from the Fremont High School Band and Sunnyvale Public Safety. A temporary “museum” of CCNS-related events over the past 60 years will be on display.

This event will take place rain or shine. Limited parking will be available in a portion of the Fremont High School student parking lot. For a current list of the participating Food Trucks and other details, please visit our website (http://www.cupertinocoop.org/) or “Like” us on Facebook.
