A one-day six-hour workshop (not including an hour lunch break), plus a round of editorial comments up to two weeks after the workshop. Instead, we ask that you bring your course writing assignments to work on during our workshops. The time you spend with us will never be wasted because you develop your writing skills while working to complete those required essays or research papers. Academic Writing Workshops are kept very small so that each student can receive the individual attention that their project requires -- in fact, they are more like group tutoring sessions than classes! Founded by U.C. Berkeley faculty, we maintain the highest teaching and educational standards. Our instructors and tutors have (or are working towards) their Ph.D.s or Masters degrees and have taught at the college level for at least two years.
