Helping the Earth...one street at a time.

The Earth is sick and we are going to help it, one street at a time! Coldwater Canyon and Victory Saturday, November 14 8:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Trash bags and gloves will be provided along with brooms and dustpans. Please join Haig It Up in cleaning the streets of North Hollywood/Burbank! I know it may not be "your" hood but this is about helping our environment, our community, our children's minds, our EARTH. We want to thank everyone in advance for considering joining us for this event of awareness and change! Please come and support a local non profit helping the community every month! We will be cleaning for half a mile in every direction starting from the corner of Coldwater Canyon and Victory (South East Corner). This event is open to everyone, including children. Refreshments and snacks, including coffee, will be provided! Thank you, Haig Mkhoian Haig It Up/Hike It Up www.haigitup.org OPTIONAL: Please bring an unwrapped gift or gift card(s) to be given to homeless teens for the holidays. Haig It Up will be collecting the gifts on the day of the event. Gift cards may be from $5 to whatever you like and please consider healthier food establishments such as Subway and El Pollo Loco. We are considering giving the gifts to at least 40 homeless teens. Haig It Up will also be participating in the 2009 Studio City Holiday Parade: Stars Shine Bright on December 6th at 5:30 p.m. Please make sure to lock the date in your calendar and come out to walk with us in the parade...more info coming soon!
