      A delicious new event is coming to Stuart this November! Prepare your palates for the 1st Annual Stuart Seafood Festival November 16 and 17 at Memorial Park in Stuart to benefit the Rivers Coalition. The festival features fresh seafood, live entertainment, kids activities, nautical vendors and fun!

      Festival gates are open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, November 16 where guests will enjoy the sounds of Brett Duff Acoustic, The Samantha Russell Band, The Long Run, an Eagles Tribute Band, and the Dave Mathews Tribute Band while noshing on savory seafood, visiting vendors and enjoying the kids area.

      Festivities kick off at 11 a.m. on Sunday, November 17 and end at 7 p.m. The entertainment lineup for the day includes the Killbillies, Fresh Catch, and the Amber Leigh Band.

      Tickets are on sale now for $5 in advance and $7 at the gates. Kids 12 and under are free. Parking is also free. Purchase tickets in Stuart at Santos Pizza, Kids Need More Art, Fresh Catch Seafood Grill, Ocean Blue Yacht Sales, and Nickerson & Company at Marriott Hutchinson Island. Tickets are also available at Grand Slam Tackle in Jupiter, Jenkins Landscape and Juno Shoe Girl in Hobe Sound, and Chillin the Most in Jensen Beach. Funds raised will help the Rivers Coalition to file a clean water legal action in order to jumpstart negotiations to end the destruction of the St. Lucie River and implement workable solutions.

      The Rivers Coalition is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending the pollution of the St. Lucie River from Lake Okeechobee. Its mission is to fight for a safe, healthy and ecologically balanced St. Lucie River Estuary and Indian River Lagoon, natural resources that are vital to the economy and quality of life of Martin County and the Treasure Coast.
