Description
Hmong at Heart gives families a window into the everyday lives of the Hmong people in three environments: a village in Laos, a refugee camp in Thailand and a Hmong American home. Visitors can examine genuine Hmong artifacts, practice everyday Hmong phrases at a farmer's market booth, and plot out how to plant 50 acres of farmland. A special 500-square foot addition created by Minnesota Children's Museum highlights the Hmong community in Minnesota during the last 30 years.

Ages 1 - 101: $7.95 Members and children under 1: FREE

At Minnesota Children's Museum, children ages 6 months through 10 years can touch, climb, splash, crawl, push, pull and press it all. Six galleries are jam-packed with hands-on adventures. Take the stage in the TV and music studio and shop for groceries at the International Market in One World. Babies and toddlers can safely creep, cruise, climb and crawl through four tot-friendly Minnesota habitats in Habitot®. Two additional galleries, Changing World and World of Wonder, host new and delightful traveling exhibits from around the world.
