Fakebook the stage series is anything but fake, taking its name from songbooks used during advanced music improv sessions. The new Minnesota Public Radio series revels in today’s fringe culture: Each installment will feature live music and authors — hosted by DJs from the Current — to create a social space for wits with taste, or anyone else who wants to join in. The action takes place at The Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul, a cabaret setting where dancing and cocktails are welcome in the aisles.
