They have a great sound if, like me, you find EARTH, WIND & FIRE, Pointer Sisters, Stevie Wonder, MJ, and the very great sounds of the 80's to your taste. The have a website that you can check out and get a taste of the group. It is at Kingdomband.com. The web site says: Unlike many groups of musicians, Kingdom is a nonprofit band in Minneapolis-St. Paul. We hope to make a positive impact in our communities using the vehicle of music, but our goal isnÂÂ't to become famous or get rich doing it. If you happen to see us live, we think youÂÂ'll agree that our shows are a ton of fun! They choose a different charity each night to bless, and then lead the party with a great song list you can also see on the site. The cost is $10 at the door. Food is to be had at the Dugout, usual burger and fries kinda joint for $5-$8, so if you wanna come early and get a good table, I will be there at 7:30 to meet and greet. I am working on seeing if they can knock a couple dollars off the at the door fee, but they have no trouble filling the place so we will see.
