Description
There was a time when Stowe was synonymous with skiing and snow was the basis for the villages claim to fame. While Stowe still enjoys a stellar winter reputation, its summertime that sizzles these days. Helping to create the buzz in Stowe in July and August is the parade of festivals that dot the calendar. In July alone there is the Fourth of July fireworks event, the Balloon Festival, and the ten day Stowe Summer Arts Festival kicking off with the Taste of Stowe Arts Festival. The Taste of Stowe is the amalgamation of four distinct events the original Taste of Stowe and Art for Arts Sake sponsored by the Helen Day Art Center, the Vermont Culinary Classic, and Craftproducers Stowe Summer Art and Craft Festival. While we have been growing this festival nicely, look for it to become a smash hit as we reap the rewards of the last years efforts. Jury Goal Continuation of integrating large contingent of Art with mix of Craftwork for 160 exhibitors.
