Majic 104.9 & Hallelujah 1600 recognizes October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month with the creation of Sista Strut. This awareness rally and 5K walk will heighten awareness about the issues of breast cancer in the African-American community, as well as provide resources available to the community. Sista Strut will feature celebrities, performances and motivation! Immediately before the Sista Strut walk begins, we will all join in for their largest ever Sista Strut Pink Shuffle!! The breast cancer statistics for the St. Louis area are staggering for women of color. This is an event to recognize the strength of the community, heighten awareness of early detection and ultimately find the cure for breast cancer for all women!
