Adventure with a Cause

St. Charles County's Habitat for Humanity has a few homes being built in St. Peters, MO. If you do not know much about them, they are a Christian organization whos primary goal is building homes for people who would otherwise not be able to afford or buy one. They rely on about 2000 hrs of labor on each home from individuals or organizations. It's fun, they serve a great lunch, and you'll meet other like minded people while you serve. Note: This Meetup is on the condition that the jobsite is open that day. I have an e-mail into Kelly with Habitat to confirm, but I am betting they are open. You will need to sign a release before working, do not worry about bringing any tools (they have everything you'll need). If you have or have not any construction skills, it does not matter. Just come with a happy, "Yes I can do that" mind set. And, if you need to leave early, nobody takes note; anything you give is welcome. Personal Protection Equipment: Safety glasses, work gloves, jeans, and work boots are recommended. If you need a non-perscrip pair of safety glasses, just let me know. I'll bring a nice pair for anyone who needs a set.
