Mirabelle Restaurant Offers Friday Night Bistro Prix Fixe

Mirabelle Restaurant (404 North Country Rd., St. James, NY 11780 [631] 584-5999) offers a special three-course prix fixe menu every Friday night from 6 p.m. This three-course prix fixe, which includes a glass of wine, is $48 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Menu changes weekly, sample is below:

First Course
Steak tartare (Traditional steak tartare with toasted brioche and frisee) or Betterave et chevre
(Golden and red beet salad with warm goat cheese) or Melon et jambon d’agneau (Cantaloupe and watermelon with cured leg of lamb)

Second Course
Bouillabaisse (Mediterranean seafood stew with monkfish, scallop, lobster, bass, shrimp) or Parmentier
(Shepherd’s pie with corn and sugar peas) or Roti de porc (Roast loin of pork, ratatouille, braised lettuce, and pickled peach)

Third Course
Reine de Saba (Almond-chocolate cake, chocolate cream) or Nectarine retournee (Upside down nectarine cake with basil scented ice cream) or Soufflé aux fraises (Strawberry soufflé with champagne sabayon)

Includes glass of House Red or White Wine
