Daily, 7:30 a.m. to dusk. Park closing time posted at gate; closed on major holidays. Trail is fully marked! A pleasant walk, mostly on natural surface trails in the woods, with historic sites (walk in the footsteps of British soldiers, George Washington, and Mosby's Rangers) and interpretive trails; visitors center offers many activity sheets for children and literature for adults; muddy in wetlands areas after heavy rainfall.
