Event Information:
On January 28th, 2009, St. Augustine, FL residents, Renee' and Jim Wauldron lost their young son, Don.....just 22. Don was a Great young man who dedicated his time to helping others in need. Don supported the Alternative Spring Break where students use their Spring Breaks to travel and help others. His family has started a Foundation in his name dedicated to promoting his favorite cause..The Alternative Spring Break. This will be the 1st Annual Don's FRIENDS 5K Run/Walk. This will be a FAST, FLAT & FUN 3.1 mile race. We have a 2 day event centered at the Ocean Front, St. Augustine Pier Pavilion. There will be Food, Music, Vendors, and even a beer Tent. Plan on spending 2 days with us! AWARDS for all age groups. April 9th - Packet pick-up from 11:00AM till 8:00PM. April 10th, race day, registration & packet pick-up from 7:00AM till 8:15AM. Be there Early! Enjoy the FUN at the OCEAN FRONT Pier Pavillion for 2 days! Music, Vendors, Food...Beer too!

This race will begin from the St. Augustine Beach Pier Pavillion. From US Hwy 1, cross over the 312 Bridge and proceed East to Beach.
