Learn how to build your own rain barrel - and then take it home with you - at one of two classes to be held on Camano Island and in Stanwood on Saturday, March 16, 2013.At 10 AM, Camano Island residents can attend the first class at the Camano Multi-Purpose Center, 141 NE Camano Dr.
At 2 PM, the same class will be held at the Stillaguamish Grange, 6521 Pioneer Highway (at the Stanwood-Camano fairgrounds). Both classes are hand’s-on, and will cost $20 for the barrel and fixtures. Some tools will be provided, or you can bring your own.
