Description:
Maya Arad is Writer in Residence at the Taube Center for Jewish Studies, Stanford. She will talk, in Hebrew, about her most recent novel, Oman Ha-Sipur Ha-Katzar (Short Story Master, published November 2009 by Xargol / Am Oved). A novel about the short story, a love story, a complex generic cross-over - this book has quickly become a critically acclaimed best-seller and
the subject of fierce debate in Israeli letters.
