Watchmen Promotion: Warner Home Video

Date and time for this event TBA This month we'll be doing something a little different: A representative from Warner Home Video contacted me and asked if we (as a group) would participate in the promotion of Watchmen The Complete Motion Comics and Watchmen: Tales Of The Black Freighter. Of course I said yes! These DVDs won't be available to the public until March 24th. So, we'll be receiving the materials by March 19th. We will be receiving a DVD of the trailers for the two titles, press materials for the group, and hopefully some cool stuff as well for our meeting attendees to have. The Black Freighter DVD will include a documentary-style film called "Under the Hood" that delves into the characters' backstories and The Watchmen Motion Comic will be a panel-by-panel slide show of the graphic novel narrated by an actor. Please come out if you can, this is a good chance to make your opinion heard. Also feel free to bring any comic book related movies or shows for us to watch after ward. Light refreshments may be served.
