Description
Start Point open Mon-Fri 7am-9pm; Sat 7am-6pm; Sun 8am-8pm. Call ahead to make sure the start point is open on holidays or during inclement weather. This is an out-and-back trail that follows somewhat hilly but mostly shaded paved paths. The trail passes through the woods along small streams and goes three-quarters of the way around Lake Mercer before returning to the start/finish point. The trail is rated 2 and is a pretty walk in the woods, especially during the spring and fall. Restrooms and water are available only at the Start Point.
