Introduction to Reiki

During this meet up, information will be provided to give the attendee's a basic knowledge of Reiki, an energy healing technic. Reiki is a safe natural therapy that promotes healing on all levels by the action of a gentle nurturing energy radiating from a Reiki Practitioner's hands. It is widely used throughout the world to promote health and enhance personal growth. Reiki is an ancient healing therapy that dates back thousands of years. Some believe it originated in Tibet, others in India or Egypt. We do know that it surfaced in the nineteenth century in Japan through a man named Dr. Usui and was introduced to the west in the late 1960's by Mrs. Hawayo Takata. I practice Traditional Usui Shiki Ryoko Reiki. It has become the foundation for my spiritual path. In this meet up, I will explain more of the history of Reiki and how it can be used in ones own life. Meet and greet will occur between 6pm and 7pm with snacks and beverages provided. At 7pm the Introduction to Reiki will begin and will be about an hour long, with time for questions and answers at the end.
