Walk daily, dawn to dusk. The route takes you over city streets and sidewalks, past Lincoln's Tomb, the Illinois Vietnam Veteran's Memorial, State Capitol, Dana Thomas house, Lincoln's home and law office. ID is required to enter the Capitol building. Memorials are closed New Year s, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Wheelchairs and strollers may need to detour around some steps.
