Fab 5 to open summer concert series on June 7

May 15, 2009 - Kick-off the arrival of summer with music from a variety of talented entertainers! The Community Associations' 2009 free Concert-in-the-Park summer series, presented by Munday Chevrolet, begins Sunday, June 7, and will continue every Sunday evening through June 28, from 7 to 9 p.m., at Northshore Park. In addition, join us on a special night, Saturday, July 4, from 7 to 9 p.m., at Northshore Park for live music by contemporary county artist Nigel Edison.

The full summer schedule is as follows:

June 7 Fab 5 (Beatles tribute)

June 14 The Dane Sonnier Band (Rock)

June 21 Carribbean Steeltones (Island)

June 28 Level One Band (Motown Review)

Sat., July 4 Nigel Edison (Country)

Bring a blanket, picnic dinner and lawn chairs to enjoy leisure time with your family! Northshore Park offers plenty of lawn space for tossing balls and Frisbees®, a large playground, two sand volleyball courts and pathways. All bands are family-friendly, and the lineup caters to a variety of tastes.
