Foundation Performing Arts & Conference Center

The Foundation Performing Arts Center in Spindale, NC is one of the region's premiere performing arts centers, bringing you the finest in music, theatre, dance and more. Strategically placed at the front door of Isothermal Community College in a wooded lakeside setting, the building has a spectacular 80-foot, three-story wall of glass that overlooks the lake and provides picturesque views by day and dramatic scenes by night. The auditorium can accommodate professional theatrical and musical events, and is equipped with a flyloft, and acoustic, video and theatrical systems.

The Foundation's Frank and Mabel West Auditorium is a 1367 fixed seat proscenium, 879 on the floor level and 488 on the balcony level. Box seats are on both levels.

The Foundation also offers a total of 7500 sq. ft. of meeting space suitable for business functions, trade shows, rallies, banquets, receptions, and proms. Both the Tanner Room & Cooley Room work well for smaller gatherings that don’t require the spaciousness of the lobby. Tables and chairs are provided at The Foundation for most events. The facility director can provide drawings of the rental area and will help plan the most efficient use of the space at your pre-event planning meeting.
