France Telecom R&D (San Francisco)

The San Francisco R&D Center of the France Telecom Group represents a diverse group of developers, experts, and analysts working in many aspects of telecommunications: digital content and consumer media, personal and mobile communications, network infrastructure, and enterprise applications. Due to its ideal location, the San Francisco R&D Center has been able to cultivate and foster ongoing relations to important research institutions such as UC Berkeley, Stanford, and USC, among others. This represents a crucial contribution to France Telecom’s global network of university relations. Interactions and observations of companies within the Silicon Valley have made it clear that experience design must be an integral part of development. In this regard, the Center has recently established a local competency center in design under the name of spark.
