The sweet, fiery warblings of Suffolk singer-songwriter Fiona Bevan have been compared to Erykah Badu, Joni Mitchell and Marc Bolan. Her band simmer and shimmer, her folk songs are inflected with jazz, and her award-winning lyrics pry into the dark corners of love, with a cast of stumbling party-girls, fickle sailors and forlorn lovers sleeping out in trees.

Fiona Bevan has been steadily flouncing her blonde afro round gigs in London / Brighton / Manchester / Zurich / Berlin / Glastonbury. She recently faced the judges on Channel 4’s “Orange Unsigned Act” with trembling knees and a cheeky grin, and won over Blur’s Alex James with her melodies and guitaring.

After a spring and summer jam-packed with gigging, including the acclaimed Vortex Tour East for the Mayor of London’s East Fest 09, Fiona has just released her debut solo album.

Black Bart are a 4 piece band from the South of the UK and have just completed recording their debut album due in shops and on iTunes from the 12th April.
Singer/guitarist Simon Stanley-Ward and guitartist Rob Joy have agreed to play this one off duo acoustic show for us in order to promote their album. Their music is clearly influenced by American songbook, as well as the genres so closely associated with it: country, blues, bluegrass, rock 'n' roll and all that stem from them. Alongside that however, they infuse this mixture with their own heavier sound, scorching their music with atmosphere and a modern edge.
I'm very excited to have them performing on the night and eagerly awaiting their new album.

Raj is one of those "one of a kind" musicians. He never fails to entertain audiences wherever he plays with his honest and often punchy pop songs. I'm always in awe of the speed he writes his songs and his amazing ability to capture a moment of something he's witnessed or experienced and be able to knock out a unique classic song to match it.
If you haven't seen Raj play then you clearly need to get out more. Raj is one of the hardest working solo acoustic artists in Southampton (although he'd never admit it) and to see him play is always a pleasure as well as an experience. Legend!!!
