American Idiot The Musical to BroadwaySep 9 All day (Sep 9 - Jan 1)FlyerInformation Date/Time: Fri Mar 6, 2009 (02:00)Minimum Age: 18Price: £3Presented by: Orange RoomsHome page: http://www.orangerooms.co.uk LocationOrange Rooms 1-2 Vernon Walk, SO15 2EJ Southampton www.orangerooms.co.uk Show mapCosily tucked away between the hustle & bustle of Bedford Place & London Road, youâll find Vernon Walk, home to the...Artists DJ A Skillz Music style Dubstep, Breakbeats, Big Beatz, Funky House, Electro, Dance, Club ClassicsDescription Finger Lickin' Records Funky Beatmeister! His incredible deck talents involve fusing funk, hip-hop and breaks with his unique style of scratching and mixing, whilst his reputation as a true party rocker has won him prime-time slots across the UK at FabricLive, Spectrum, Chew The Fat, Supercharged, The Boutique and Sugarbeat as well as gigs around the world at major events, festivals and music industry parties such as The Hit Factory (New York), WMC (Miami) and Field Day (Sydney). In 2005 A Skillz kicked off with a mini-mix for Annie Mac that was later voted best mini-mix of the year by Radio 1 listeners, beating industry heavyweights such as Basement Jaxx, Mylo and Scratch Perverts. Since then he has released many tracks including a mix album on Finger Lickinâ Records, which still flies off the shelf with it's frenetic fuse of funk driven hip-hop and bass heavy breakbeat. 2008 has possibly been his finest year to date. He's clocked up some serious air miles playing across Australia, Canada, America, and Europe whilst continuing to produce the finest in dance floor bangers including Strawberry Jam Forever, L.S.D and his highly sort after party monster Come Together. But be warned boys and girls.... if you think that's impressive, the best is most certainly yet to come! Tickets £2 before 9pm, £3 before 10pm, more thereafter (£1 off with NUS).GuestbookShow All Entries 1 person's favorite |
