      NJ Audubon: Exploring the Negri Nepote Grasslands Preserve for Nesting Birds
      Walk led by NJ Audubon Associate Naturalist

      On June 16, 2018, a New Jersey Audubon Naturalist will lead a walk in the Negri Nepote Grasslands Preserve, looking for grassland nesting birds including the Grasshopper Sparrow and Dickcissel. Virtually all the birds seen on the walk will be established on breeding territories. Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather and to bring binoculars, although loaner binoculars will be available. Participation is free but participants are encouraged to register by calling 732-873-2500 (ext. 6279).
      This walk is sponsored by Franklin Township Open Space Program.
