Outa LA go West on 101. At the border of Santa Barbara and Goleta turn right on State St / Hwy 154 to go up over San Marcos Pass. About 5 miles past Lake Cachuma look for and take a left turn on Hwy 246 to Solvang. Look for the Mustard Seed Restaurant on your right at 1655 Mission (Hwy 246) in Solvang. They will open for breakfast at 8:30 AM and we have a reserved room.

Leave LA at 6:30 AM if you want to have breakfast with us - about a 2:15 hr drive. The hash TCP caravan will leave the Mustard Seed parking lot at 10:00 AM sharp.
Coming from the North? Come down 101 and turn left at Hwy 246 just past Andersons Split Pee Soup. When you get to Solvang, look for the Mustard Seed Restaurant on the left.

We will taste at 4-5 wineries in the Santa Ynez area, time permiting, and eat lunch at one of them. Then we will drive to Arroyo Grande to the hash hotel (map) arriving about 2:30 PM to check in. If you bring your own wine glass, or buy wine, there may be no charge for tasting. Try sharing too. Most places are charging $3 to $10 to taste 4-6 wines and give you their glass. Thanks to PMS, we have a private tasting at our first stop, Kalyra Winery - one of the wineries in the movie Sideways.

If you are late or get lost, meet up with us figuring about 45 minutes per winery on the list. We will also be monitoring FRS channel 6.0 if you have a walker talkie.
