Description
Paumanok Path Hike Series #2 This is a last minute hike. The Saturday hike (to Laurel Valley) may get cancelled due to possible rain. So, I hope to not end this week without a hike, hehehe. So for those who are up to it, let's hike. This is the second segment of our Paumanok Hike Series. This is an approx 8.2 miles of hiking within the Robert Cushman Murphy County Park with its magnificent coastal plain pond system and the Peconic River watershed. We will start at Route 25 with Pine Nature Preserve kiosk and end near exit 70 of the LIE. For those also taking the 3rd segment, the Manorville Hills, this is a good prep hike for the 10mile hilly Manorville. Call me directly so we can arrange the meeting and shuttle. 631 875 8607
