Guiyang Symphony Orchestra, founded in 2009, is the only professional orchestra founded by a sole private enterprise in the whole of mainland China.

The Orchestra will present a wonderful concert on their first overseas performance for their Singapore friends.

This concert features a fusion of East and West, with Berlioz's Roman Carnival Overture and Rimsky Korsakov's Scheherazade, and the Guzheng concerto Tune of Rainbow Cloud, which is based on the Shanxi Qin Qiang, as well as the bamboo flute concerto Go to Xikou, which is based on the Er Ren Zhuan.
