805 South - Blues Rock and Everything in Between "For the love of the music, nothing else matters!" 805 South (8-oh-5 South) is a Los Angeles based band. Band founders are Candy from Nashville, and Lisa Shea from Memphis. 805 South is a fusion of original Memphis Rhythm and Blues, Nashville songwriting, southern rock guitar, groove pumping drums and smooth bluesy bass lines. If “Black Crowes”, “Etta James”, and “Cream” had a baby than 805 South would be that love child. They have been called by fans “Stevie Ray Vaughan” with chicks and female “Jimi Hendrix”.
