Start Point Address / Driving Directions:
611 East Sierra Madre Blvd, Sierra Madre, Ca. 91024. From the 210 Fwy East bound or West bound exit at Santa Anita Ave and turn North toward the mountains. Cross Foothill Blvd and proceed to Sierra Madre Blvd. Turn left and continue to Sierra Vista Park (on your right). Watch for AVA signs. Event Description: The trail weaves back and forth through the quaint village of Sierra Madre. It is all on pavement. There are at least 16 historical sites. You will see turn-of-the-century (19th to 20th) and a Pioneer Cemetary. It will pass the Construction Barn which houses the Sierra Madre Rose Parade Float. Visitors are welcome.

Sierra Madre has one of only six self-decorated floats in the Rose Parade and relies solely on volunteers to design, engineer, and decorate the float. If you would like to volunteer to help decorate the float after your walk, contact Bonnie Colcher at 626-355-7005 or email sierramadrevolunteers@yahoo.com.
