Shreveport Municiapal Auditorium
Located just west of Downtown Shreveport, lies one of Shreveport’s most treasured buildings. Built in the 1920’s this building, noted for its intricate brickwork and lavish interior, is called “The finest example of Art Deco” construction in the State of Louisiana. This sound proof arena, has always been particularly appealing for musical events and productions. Seating capacity is around 3,500 and the building has hosted stars such as Elvis, Jimmy Hendrix, Johnny Cash, James Brown and current artists such as Plies, Pretty Willie, Soulja Boy and many others.
