Virtual worlds work across all platforms, but when it comes to Second Life, it's one of the very few platforms that fully supports the Apple Macintosh. In fact, at some point, it was estimated that up to a third of all Second Life users were, indeed, Mac users — since they had nowhere else to go.
Apple is strangely absent from the virtual environment of Second Life. Getting one hour of Steve Jobs' busy agenda to do a speech in Second Life would be a tremendous boost to all Second Life residents faithful to the brand. Steve can also talk about things dear to him — namely, focusing on the huge success of live music shows inside Second Life, many of which would never be possible without the popularity of non-DRM'd music available from iTunes.
