Woodside Braseth, founded in 1961, is one of the elders of the art scene here. Featuring the work of Northwest masters Guy Anderson, Mark Tobey, Morris Graves and others, bills itself as "Seattle's oldest gallery." Now in an airy, second-story space directly west of the Paramount Theater, it's also on its third home.

The gallery, which changes solo or group shows every four to five weeks, exclusively shows established and mid-career Northwest artists working primarily in painting, sculpture and glass. Contemporary works can be abstract, completely realistic (even depicting colorful Safeco Field or city scenes) or as fanciful as Ginny Ruffner's giant glass chandeliers and sculptures.
