Barbecue is interpreted globally on Smokin’ Pete’s menu, which includes such unlikely bedfellows as crispy Peking-style barbecue duck with plum sauce and Asian slaw, beer-battered catfish po-boy with a side of dirty rice, and good ol’ barbecue ribs with cole slaw, corn bread and your choice of hot or original sauce. Meats are generally terrific (and are available for takeout by the pound), as are desserts, but side dishes tend to be ho-hum. Open for lunch and dinner.
