Last Supper Club (Seattle)

While The Last Supper Club sits almost smack in the middle of frat-boy central, you shouldn't confuse this classy, split-level Pioneer Square club with a meat market. Classily-appointed and festooned with striking artwork, the LSC has the immaculate feel of a movie set minus the artifice. You can easily imagine character actors ordering martinis at one of its full bars, directors trying to frame action using the upper level's striking green laser light as a backdrop, and dressed-down movie stars shaking their stuff on the LSC's cool basement dance floor.

But the LSC is reality, not fiction, and its staff works hard to preserve that realness. Everyone working at the club — from the bartender that takes your order almost immediately after you make eye contact, to the doorman who says "have a good time" after he checks your ID — is as polite as can be, and their good nature rubs off on the crowd; even the frat boys rise to the occasion.

The music mix is as agreeable to the ears as the décor is to the eyes. The LSC features top local and national DJ talent, deftly mixing hi-energy dance, drum-and-bass, hip-hop and progressive house tracks. It's an energetic, yet disciplined soundtrack, and the Last Supper Club's cinematic vibe matches it beat for beat.
