Celebrating the Wright brothers first powered flight on Dec. 17, 1903, The Museum of Flight's annual Wright Spirit Holiday event features aviation- and space-themed family activities. Wright Spirit activities are free with Museum admission. The Museum offers free admission to youths 17 and under from Dec. 1 - 20, through a generous grant from the Norman Archibald Charitable Foundation. Bring a toy to donate to Toys for Tots and drop it off in the Museum Store.
9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
Reindeer Display
See a live reindeer from Cougar Mountain Zoo outside of the Museum's main entrance.
10 a.m.
Santa Claus Arrival by Helicopter-Courtesy Classic Helicopter Corp.
Santa Claus will arrive by helicopter at 10 a.m. (weather permitting). Santa and Mrs. Claus will greet children in the Museum's Great Gallery until 2 p.m. Don't forget to bring your camera!
11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Holiday Concert Performances by the Seattle Lutheran Bell Choir and Boeing Employees Concert Band
Hear traditional and contemporary holiday melodies performed by the Seattle Lutheran Bell Choir at 11 a.m., and the Boeing Employees Concert Band at 12:30 p.m.
11:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.
Bank of America Weekend Family Workshop: Wright Flyers
They are the most famous brothers in the history of aviation: Wilbur and Orville Wright, the inventors of the airplane. Visitors will learn how the Wright brothers solved the problem of controllable flight and will have the opportunity to make a model of one of their aircraft designs.

Wright Spirit Scavenger Hunt
Explore the Great Gallery, Kids' Flight Zone and Space: The New Frontier exhibits to find the answers and to win a special prize!
