Start Point Address / Driving Directions:
225 Aurora Avenue N. Seattle, WA 98109. Directions: From I-5, take Exit 167, Mercer/Fairview. (From the south, exit from the left lane of the freeway.) Keep to the left on the exit ramp; turn left to Fairview Avenue North at light. After five blocks, turn right onto Denny Way. Turn right again at 6th Ave North. Go one block to John Street and turn right again. The Seattle Inn is on your left. Bus Route #5 from 3rd Avenue downtown will take you to Denny Park, about four blocks away. You can also reach the Quality Inn by driving South on Aurora Ave (Hwy 99). Get in the right lane and get off at Thomas or John Street. Event Description: Daylight hours. Walk is on sidewalks and park paths through the Seattle Center grounds to Queen Anne Hill. There are beautiful homes and gardens and sweeping views of Elliot Bay, Olympic Mountains, Cascade Mountains, and downtown Seattle along the route. A 5km route is also available.
