Start Point Address / Driving Directions:
2400 6th Avenue West. Seattle, WA 98119. Directions: From 1-5, take Exit 167, Mercer/Fairview. Stay to the right on the ramp, turning left on Fairview, staying in the far right lane. Turn right on Westlake and continue to Nickerson (about a mile). At this complex intersection, stay in the left lane, making an angled left turn onto Florentia St. Continue on Florentia until it ends, turn left onto the short street leading to 3rd Ave West. Turn left onto 3rd Ave West and continue to McGraw St. Turn right to Start at Ken's Market. Event Description: Daylight hours. This is a challenging trail that descends from the top of Queen Anne Hill to the Seattle Pacific University Campus, then follows the Lake Washington Ship Canal under the Fremont Bridge. The route ascends the hill, continues around the hilltop, then descends again through lovely residential streets, then climbs to the top again on the "Counterbalance."
