Voice Students will move through a series of voice/mind/body exercises aimed at freeing their natural voice and strengthening their connection to vocalized sound. You will develop a set of tools for vocal development that draws on an understanding of human anatomy and how to apply that knowledge of physiology to voice work. Students will acquire ease and power in their vocal skills that will enhance their vocal potential. October 18 - December 13 Sundays 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. $325 (Tier I); $375 (Tier II) Tier is based on household income. (No class November 29) To register; www.freeholdtheatre.org or call us at (206)323-7499 Gin Hammond, recently nominated for an AUDELCO award, received her MFA from the American Repertory Theatre Institute at Harvard University/Moscow Art Theatre School. She has performed nationally at theatres such The Guthrie, Arena Stage, The Longwharf Theatre, Seattle's ACT, The Pasadena Playhouse, the ART, The Berkshire Theatre Festival and The Studio Theatre in Washington D.C., where she won a Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Lead Actress for her performance of The Syringa Tree. Internationally, she has performed in Russia, Germany, Ireland, Scotland and England. Ms. Hammond also received a Kathleen Cornell award, and grants from Allied Arts and the NEA.
