The Renaissance Singers perform Christmas in Cambridge - A Holiday Concert in the English Tradition!

Travel back to the early 20th century and experience a wonderful Christmas in Cambridge! This program will include breathtaking early 20th century English poetry accompanied by luscious choral selections that are a part of the rich English choral tradition made famous by the Choir of King's College in Cambridge, who perform annually the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols. Some of the musical selections include Benjamin Britten's (1913-1976) A Hymn to the Virgin, Harold Darke's (1888-1976) In the Bleak Midwinter and William Harris's (1883-1973) Faire is the Heaven. The program will also feature reader Nurmi Husa and organist Jo Baim.

This program is truly for all ages and will get you in the Christmas spirit!
