Gage Academy of Art (formerly the Seattle Academy of Fine Art)
Gage Academy of Art (formerly the Seattle Academy of Fine Art) is a non-profit organization with an annual operating budget of $1.3 million. Gage offers personal attention and hands-on classical foundation training in the principles of drawing, painting and sculpture to students at all levels of proficiency. The roster of ways to engage in art at Gage include year-round adult classes and workshops, after-school and Friday evening classes for teenagers, and programs for younger kids in schools around Seattle during the school year and at the Gage campus in the summer. Gage Academy of Art offers scholarships, art classes, and drop-in drawing, painting and sculpting âOpen Studiosâ with live figure models seven days a week during the academic year.
