Monday Morning Tango Practica - Ongoing - YOU'VE GOTTA TRY IT!

TANGO ON MONDAY MORNING - R U Crazy? Well Yes, I am - I am crazy about this Tango Practica run by Ilana Ruben and A.B. Adams. For just $5 you get - a 1/2 hour lesson w/ Ilana Ruben, a light lunch buffet, AND 2 and a half hours of dancing, not including the lesson. The ambiance is totally mellow. If you are a TOTAL beginner, people will welcome you and will actually dance with you and be nice about it. There are also higher level leads and follows that frequent the practica as well. Since I started going two weeks ago, it has become my new addiction :-) So this will be an ongoing "meetup" event, if you RSVP by Sunday evenings, I will look for you, but make sure to look for me on the dance floor, and I will introduce you to leads and follows there and make you feel at home. So if you are in the Capitol Hill Area - or have a long lunch hour, work at home, are underemployed - whateveh ... try to do something FUN on a Monday, for once! When - 11 to 11:30am - Tango lesson 11:30 to 2 pm - Tango Dance Practica Feel free to come at whatver time suits you - I try to show up as early as possible and leave as late as possible :-) Where - Dance Underground, on the block just south of QFC. Look for the Sandwich Board Sign with the Dance Underground logo on it, and go downstairs. You can find free 2 hour parking in the residential areas, on the numbered avenues, east or west of 15th avenue.
