The Seattle Aquarium isn't as large as many major city aquariums, but what it lacks in size it more than compensates for in entertainment and educational value. Its 400,000-gallon, walk-through fish tank is a winner, and its octopus, seahorse, jellyfish and otter exhibits are exceptional. The Aquarium also features a number of exhibits dedicated to fostering understanding of the ecosystems of the Pacific Northwest — an absolute must-see for anyone who stays in this part of the country longer than a day.
