Kenny Chesney and Corona Extra have partnered to host a free Corona Tailgate series for fans in select cities during Chesney's “Sun City Carnival Tour” sponsored by Corona – and Seattle is one of them.
The Corona Tailgates will allow fans (even if they don’t have a ticket to the concert!) to participate in fun games and activities, enjoy Corona Extra and Corona Light, take in live country music performances, and feel like they are part of the full concert tour experience. The Seattle Corona Tailgate will take place before the concert at Qwest Field on Saturday, August 1 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Never one to miss a good party with Corona beer, Kenny Chesney might make an appearance as is he known to surprise and mingle with fans at Corona Tailgates.

Contemporary country star Kenny Chesney didn't have the immediate breakout success that many of his peers enjoyed upon signing with major labels, but gradually built up a significant following via hard work, pop-friendly ballads, and a likable, average-guy persona. Chesney was born in Knoxville, TN, in 1968 and raised in the nearby small town of Luttrell, better known as the home of Chet Atkins. He grew up listening to both country and rock & roll, but didn't get serious about music until college, when he studied marketing at East Tennessee State University.
