Introduction to Flamenco I class (Introduction to Flamenco I class)

This is the best class for people just starting to study flamenco, whether or not you have studied it or any other type of dance before. Emphasis on lots of technique to give you the vocabulary you need to dance and understand this incredible art form. Technique includes palmas (clapping), hands, arms, footwork, posture, turns, even just walking as a dancer, and of course you will learn a choreography.... a fun and fast 4/4 rhythm called a "Rumba Gitana" or gypsy rumba. This is an ongoing general class and is still open for all to join!! We meet on Tuesday nights from 5:30-7:00 pm and on Saturdays from 2:30-4:00 pm. You can take one or the other or both classes! Just come in and start! You will love it...
