The winter holidays are coming, and here's your chance to make special handmade cards. Blow everyone's minds with cards personalized with your own stamp or stencil, inspired by the exhibition at the Seattle Asian Art Museum.

FREE and open to the public. Designed for kids ages 12 and under and their parents / guardians. All activities are drop-in. No registration required.

The museum, which houses the majority of the Seattle Art Museum's 7,000-piece Asian art collection, specializes in works from Japan, China, Korea, India, Southeast Asia and the Himalayas. Considered one of the best Asian art collections in the country, the museum's holdings include Japanese ink painting, calligraphy and Buddhist sculpture; Chinese tomb figures, jade carvings and puppets; Korean screens and ceramics; Southeast Asian Buddhist and Hindu sculptures and historical Thai ceramics. The museum also offers lectures relating to current exhibits, kids events, Japanese tea ceremonies and artist demonstrations on esthetic techniques such as flower arranging.
