Advanced Modern (Advanced Modern at eXit SPACE with Marlo Martin)

Modern with Marlo Marlo’s class concentrates on building clean, sound and strong technique. Moving gently from the floor to standing, each exercise stresses the importance of strengthening the core in order to enhance integrated mobility throughout the entire body. Marlo borrows from her training in Barteniff Fundamentals™ and Laban™ to challenge each student with the art of musicality and weight shifting. Be ready to sweat while working on strength and mobility as you gain freedom in your dancing. Intermediate/ Advanced For students with a strong understanding of movement and alignment principles. Students are challenged to learn at a faster pace while focusing on clean technique and details within the material. Advanced For students with a clear understanding of movement and alignment concepts who are able to integrate technique, musicality and dynamic changes to their approach of the material. Students at this level will strive to fully understand their body and develop self-expression.
