Description
The spectrum of sleep disorders, from disordered breathing, to insomnia, to insufficient sleep all cause effects throughout the body. Both physical and mental processes are impaired by unhealthy sleep.
Join Dr. Catherine Darley, ND from The Institute of Naturopathic Sleep Medicine as she discusses:
- normal adult sleep
- sleep disordered breathing and its effects on the cardiovascular system
- how insomnia is understood today
- sleep deprivation and its effects on mental performance
- the link between insufficient sleep and obesity
