SCDM is a non-profit professional society founded in 1994 to advance excellence in the management of clinical data. SCDM is the largest professional organization of clinical data managers, with over 2,300 clinical data management professionals. Membership consists of professionals in pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology and medical device firms, Clinical Research Organizations, software and hardware vendors, academia, consulting firms and more. All top pharmaceutical companies are represented with membership not only in the United States, but across the globe. The common thread binding these individuals together is a commitment to promoting quality and excellence in the clinical data management profession.
